Michael moved to Edmonton back in 2011 looking for a change of scenery. It wasn't long after he came to the city that Michael and Rhys met at a local coffee shop, and shared their passions for travel, adventure and of course coffee. When they reflect on their meeting both Michael and Rhys agree that they were unsure of the path there relationship would have. But like with all good things, the more it aged, the more refined it became, and suddenly they knew this was it. One day, in their home, during their traditional Christmas, Rhys got to one knee to ask if Michael would marry him. Of course, Michael said yes. They both agree that this is the beginning of a beautiful love story.
